Having built homes many homes over the years in the pursuit of getting into a position to build our "dream home" we finally had the ideal location secured, the perfect house plan to suit our needs - but unfortunately no builder. Via a hard core tender process through our architect, that went out to market twice, we finally found Shamus Cameron from Cameron Constructions. At first, not personally knowing the builder we were about to rely on to turn 25 years of house dreams (and our life's savings) into reality was daunting, but when we met Shamus for the first time, we were immediately put at ease.

Shamus is one of those salt of the earth "good blokes" that doesn't mess around, says it how it is (nicely) and delivers on every promise. He really was a pleasure to work with.

Shamus ensured we were involved in every decision and worked perfectly with our architect too. His attention to detail, quality workmanship and ability to demand and deliver the best quality jobs from his trades was outstanding. I was also extremely impressed with the pride he took in every aspect of our home personally. There was nothing he did not know and the day we moved in, it was even Shamus there at dawn washing down the driveway to ensure when we arrived, there was not even a tyre mark on the driveway. His thoughtfulness and care was incredible.

Our home is a dream come true for us and Shamus really did make this possible with a little bit of guidance from our amazing architect. This is our ninth build and I can honestly say, while probably the most complex of the homes we have constructed, this was definitely the easiest with Shamus on speed dial. Even months later, I still ring him for a chat - he is just one of those guys!

We would not even dream of enlisting anyone else if we ever tire of this place - but seriously, I doubt it. It is simply perfect!

This is to attest that Cameron Constructions have satisfactorily performed and completed a construction project at our property and the adjoining property. The scope of works was related to a major extension, both upstairs and downstairs with all associated works.

Despite some dreadful weather during this project, Shamus and his team of people worked extremely well together to get the project completed and with all required works according to design and council specifications.
